A while ago I proposed that the logo for my LLC would be an algorithm, and not a specific vector. Last night as a side effect of other work it became a tool. #design #typography #happitecLogo

And here’s the logo app, wrapped up in a bulk export UI with all of the configurations exposed.

And... one day later.
And one more day… now they’re real! Insane series of coincidence that let me get 400 postcards custom printed in under a day:
- Have previously worked as a print professional, so know how to set up a run, including bleeds and the like
- Live next door to a guy who owns a print shop
- Write software that outputs an 800-page PDF to make the print company’s job very easy.
#happitecLogo #postcards
Yeah 100%. The physics simulation on occasion would throw a letter off the canvas entirely! I decided to live with it. #happitecLogo #postcards
@everyplace is the 'c' missing on the bottom left card?
@everyplace love it
@everyplace reminds me the Helsinki Design Labs logo that was a system of characters and shapes.

@benbrown oh man what a good reference! I hadn’t seen that before (https://www.helsinkidesignlab.org/blog/the-visual-language-of-hdl) but my pints of reference were similar: the Brooklyn Museum and Whitney logo systems as a primary departure point, but also this one canned Paul Rand EF logo has been living in my head rent free for a while.

Look at the center one in this image.

@benbrown of course the most annoying thing about this is I should probably reimplement the entire logo generation in JS to live on https://happitec.com/ … I wonder if there are any SpriteKit to SwiftWASM examples?!

Oops looks like my site metadata is wrong. Also looks like the answer is no direct SpriteKit -> WASM porting :(
