You think dealing with some of the editors at Wikipedia is bad, wait until you have a tussle with some of the editors and admins at theTVDB. 😂 Some of them just make no sense and are militant in screwing up series and show naming and episode placements. #TVDB #TheTVDB #Emby #JellyFin #Plex
@paul Ugh. Nearly any old animated TV show is always such as mess. Even after streaming services canonize proper episode numbering, TVDB never budges on their wrong ordering.
@RxBrad @paul I don’t use TVDB, but had success with Episode Groups on TMDB. Looks like TVDB has something similar under the seasons section. Then selecting the desired order in JF settings.

@RxBrad Isn't that the truth. They will a knife a person if you challenge them on Looney Tunes..🤭

Things have gotten worse since streaming services are repackaging TV shows for their platforms, messing up seasons.

@RxBrad @paul Streaming services just make up new episode ordering for old content. That’s why TVDB admins will shank you for trying to touch Looney Tunes. The Aired Order is a definitive episode ordering that cannot be changed, because it IS the order in which the original episodes were aired. That original broadcast is static history, not a suggestion that flows with the currents. Newer ordering options, such as DVD, are available to add next to it though.
@ClickyMcTicker @paul But also, take something like Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-head. TVDB splits all of the individual shorts into episodes. This is a problem with sooo many animated series. The fact of the matter is that each pair of shorts should be one episode.
