Not only did I can for the first time ever, but I made kiwi jam and kosher style dill green tomato pickles. I also made canning labels with my Cricut and inkjet printer with print then cut.

Am so excited!!

@melsaywhat kiwi jam sounds veeeery interesting. have you made it before? I wonder about the seeds, if they're just crunchy texture like in raw kiwi, or do they become something else.

@wannabekingpin I hadn't made it before. The seeds do still appear as seeds, but texturally they were not noticeable to me. The jam was VERY GOOD, a lot sweet, so you only need a VERY little.

@wannabekingpin That's really all it takes. The good news about kiwi and kiwi jam is you don't need to buy bushels of them!!
