ThadJust watched the Curious George Halloween special and it has a reference to Jack Kirby in it for some reason (there's a machine called the Kurtzberg 828; Kirby was born Jacob Kurtzberg and 8/28 was his birthday). I'm sure there's nothing more to it than one of the writers was a Kirby fan, but it feels a little out of left field in a way it wouldn't in, say, a comic book adaptation.
