@jbaggs @cvvhrn @ai6yr yeah...

  • And yes, this is hard.

Even with the regular #Hazmat "Full Body Condom" from the Hazmat Platoon in my Hometown it's a real ordeal to get on and off - and that's not even accounting decontamination.

  • So a doctor who's not just near #BSL4 classified material but literally having to care for patients (in your case I guess children) that may even cough blood at one, this ain't easy, pretty or simple...

I mean, it's one thing to duct-tape 3-finger gloves to a firefighter vs. enshuring someone has surgical precision...

  • Hats off BTW. I think anyone doing such missions deserves my utmost respect!

Attached: 1 image @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org this is what full on Ebola isolation looks like. back in 2014 we were one of the West Coast pediatric Transport teams and hospital that was designated to take Ebola patients and transport them. 30 minutes to Don and 45 minutes to doff with supervision. And yes, we were expected to diaper up. it is literally like wearing a sauna inside a sauna in death Valley. And putting on and taking off required two people watching and one person supervising. Because screwing it up was no Bueno. That’s me on the right.
