Well, at least, my garage is not extra radioactive 😂 Not at all above background, actually, it seems.

(always wondered that given my random radio gear and parts....)

I think they just tend to drop more stuff from the atmosphere perhaps because of all the updraft activity. Any old rain shows a modest boot.

I'm seen people report that the wipings from solar panels are measurably above background.

@ai6yr yeah it was like the first time I got that little FLIR camera for my iPhone. I walked around everywhere in the house lol

They have this portable CT scan scanner for patients that can’t be moved, and it’s basically a cut down version with all the shielding striped Holy cow that sucker just pegs every time it turns on. I just pulled this from the Internet. I do not actually work at Oakland children’s.
