Ran new #cat6a cables, but they will not power my #raspberrypi with POE hats. Cat6, no problem. Cat6a will power other devices. Got to be that hat but over my head as to why this would be the case. Never seen this before. #selfhosting #selfhosted #homelab

Shielding coming into contact with anything on the hat? I'd be betting on some sort of short being completed/carried when the 6a is hooked up to the hat.

@__hetz manufactured cables so nothing loose or opened up on the ends. Pis are in a rack with a faceplate so the cable is actually cut off from the Hat physically.
