I have forgotten what it is like to live on the Indian coast. Humidity makes heat unbearable and rain is torrential. Buildings show signs of disintegration because of major seepage. There is green and black moss almost everywhere.
I have been living on a plateau for more than a decade. The weather is pleasant most of the year. Harsh summers and erratic rainfall started because of global warming and climate change. We have less lush greenery but the weather more than makes up for it. And food doesn't go bad as quickly.
