Back to Yolla Bolly for a little trail work, this time around the south mountains. This is the very southern end of the Bigfoot Trail! The first two days, we worked to Long Lake and along a connector trail for the Ides Cove National Recreation Trail.

Day 3 was moving day and had lots of free time, so I got to hike the Wilderness high point, which happens to be the Mendocino National Forest high point too!

Days 4+5: back at the trail work, this time getting out to a fabled area of Cedar Basin. Well, at least someone many of us knew had hiked the area and said it was a particularly nice spot.
