Otherwise you definitely see where they are going with all this. Expect to see Republicans stepping up the use of tactics previously common as methods for religious evangelism to retain or convert people to their political cause.

Speaking of old time revivals, my favorite quote about them is from a famous Presbyterian missionary to Afghanistan who claimed in an interview I transcribed that Billy Sunday’s wife once told him the famous revivalist “led thousands to Christ and all six of his children to the gates of hell”.
