Repair Cafe @Hitchin Hackspace

A Repair Café is an event in which expert repairer volunteers repair small appliances/devices with the person bringing the item along. We will therefore expect you to stay for the duration of the attempted repair and you might get to learn a thing or two about repairs ;) Hitchin Repair Café is run entirely by local volunteers. We do not charge for the repairs but you are welcome to leave a donation. Our aim is to reduce waste and save as many items from landfill as possible. We hold 3 Repair Cafe a year. You can book a repair through completing and submitting the form below, choosing a time slot for your visit. We accept only pre-booked items and 1 item only per booking form and per person. If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing us. Please consider whether you may need to purchase spare parts before attending the repair cafe in order for your item to be repaired.
