I'm personally so glad I'm not only not on a #Spotify plan, but I don't use the service what so fuckin ever. If I want niche i go soundcloud and bandcamp and occasionially buy directly from artits (I hope).

If I'm looking for confirmation something is good and I haven't missed it, I go to https://www.albumoftheyear.org/ and check reviews. Also #metacritic and then try to buy it. If I can't I download it this way or another... still better to discover and acknowledge artists than the fucked up "recommendation engine".
