I'm calling prudes Philistines from now on because it fits perfectly.

I love nude Greek & Roman statues, old Renaissance paintings, and photos of the human form. Not for sex, for art.

The curves, the unique marks and features that make each body a masterpiece.

This fascination led me to study Kinesiology as my undergrad. I wanted to understand the human body in movement, in peak performance, so I could teach others to inhabit their bodies with strength and grace.

But I also pursued Psychology simultaneously because I was obsessed with how the mind shapes the body. How thoughts become posture. How trauma lives in tissue. How confidence changes everything.

Mens Sana in Corpore Sano i.e. a sound mind in a sound body. The Romans got it.

Philistines see a nude body and think 'sex' or 'shame.'

Artists see 'story,' 'strength,' 'beauty.'

The difference isn't what we're looking at. It's what we can see.

@Crissy The image features a classical marble statue of a nude female figure. The statue is depicted in a three-quarter view, with the figure's body turned slightly to the side, showcasing the graceful curves and musculature of the human form. The hair is intricately carved, with curls and waves that add texture and depth to the sculpture. The figure's left hand is gently placed over the chest, with fingers delicately positioned, while the right arm is relaxed at the side. The background is a solid, dark color, which contrasts with the light-colored marble, highlighting the details of the sculpture. The overall composition emphasizes the beauty and elegance of the human form, characteristic of classical art.
