I have written off the day - sometimes one just has a rubbish day and needs to call it. Some AFL football finals silliness tonight should do the trick and lift me out of my end-of-week slump.

My sister-in-law uses her remote control as a 'coaching stick' during the game and names individual players at various times, asking them to lift or do their magic. I am the 'assistant coach' and help out by suggesting players for her to 'coach'.

What do you know - it worked for every player when Hawthorn played Adelaide last week. Will it work this week???
