@gamingonlinux @ubuntu According to https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gamescope , it‘s maintained by the Debian Games Group ( https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/Games?action=show&redirect=Games%2FTeam )and will be updated to 3.16.15-2 in 25.10. There are some alternative sources available, but they don‘t really seem up-to-date either.
