[odin is the leader of the wild hunt, in the saxon version of it he is woden, but the saxon wild hunt is lead by a guy named herla cyning (king herla) who is also definitely still woden. and then later this is translated into frankish as herlaquin, who then becomes the stock theatre character of the harlequin, who then becomes literally all modern clowns]
