Marketing is not #branding or advertising..

Let’s say that 50 Cent is coming to town for a concert.

50 existing as a #Rapper, #songwriter and #mogul. That’s branding.

You get a #billboard that announces the event. That’s #advertising.

You put a sign on a Sprinter Van about the event. That’s #promoting.

The Sprinter Van drive all around town while blasting her music. That’s #publicity.

You get people talking about it & sharing the #event on social #media. That’s public relations.

You get #fans buying tickets & #merchandise. That’s sales.

Marketing refers to the process an organization undertakes to engage its target #audience, build strong relationships to create value in order to capture value in return.
