So I get a nail hole in the one modern reliable vehicle I have. Conveniently, right before this, one of the two 120v legs going to my barn aka the Shitbox Dungeon decides to stop working. My main air compressor of course uses 240v so it’s out of commission. My portable compressor is the kind with the alligator clamps that grab the battery post. Well what do you know, today is when one of the solder joints (or spot weld?) on the alligator clamp fails. So I can’t put air in the tire
I have all my soldering shit except the venerable 40+ yr old weller solder station. Where the fuck is it!
And I can plug it in because guess which 120v leg the fucking outlets are on
It’s a bridge too far to ask where the fuck the heat gun went. Cmon even a lighter? Goddamn
Best part is the nail 100% came from shit I was doing!
Actually the nail hole was rather huge so even though I have been dumping fasteners all over the place, they’re mostly small so it’s possible this is all some other assholes fault. Maybe that’s the story I’m going to choose to remember.
