The level of discussion about EU #cars is just depressing. We have car makers now saying they can't make €15000 cars without the rules being changed to make them less safe whilst Chinese ones can make and import them for that.

We already have those rules for lower speed lightweight non motorway vehicles across the EU/UK too! with the L6/7 categories. Citroen already make a sub €15000 vehicle (the Ami)

Even dumber the UK will give you a big subsidy on an #EV SUV but nothing on an L6/7 vehicle.
