Nice setting and compo! On a shot like this I'd suggest using Center Weighted Metering. Aim at the trail at your feet [gray is a nice medium intensity], press the shutter halfway, and, while holding, reframe and shoot. The next comment is the luminosity mask I used. -Tao of Photography
