Today was the first day in five months that I didn't feel a deadline breathing down my neck.
It's there all right, but I somehow managed to ignore it.
I felt I had some time to do something else than sit at my desk and work, so I decided to work on the wood pile for a bit.
I know, still work, but relaxing to me!
While doing that I disturbed a multitude of silverfish, spiderlings and other small critters. They were scrambling but when I stopped moving they settled down and went back to doing whatever it is they do.
I just sat there and watched them going about their business.
It was a double treat: watching these tiny creatures and after that realising I had been so absorbed by them that I did basically nothing for 15 minutes without feeling guilty about it.
Thank you tiny creatures!
