I haven't seen anything on the forum or an email from Octopus. Anyone else seen this?

#OctopusEnergy #SavingSessions

@bazcurtis well, they certainly won the DFS auction for the slot. Should be on their site if ha was able to sign up to it

Looks like my email arrived 10 mins ago

@wishy Nothing here yet. Is it a good export rate?
@bazcurtis @wishy does it really matter for battery users? I mean everyday 7-8pm my daily usage is zero… it doesn’t get better than zero does it? Or so you setup battery for export at this time?

@piofthings @bazcurtis You also get paid a premium on exports.

So if it's been a sunny day and you've got a full battery which you'd discharge at some point anyway, it's a bit of a bonus to do it as a time that supports the grid.

10p is the lowest ever payout, but I do have energy to export at some point today, may as well be then

@wishy @piofthings Same here. My SoC is 87% and tomorrow's forecast is decent. I could top it up for 12p from now to 4pm on Cosy
@wishy @bazcurtis I see… thanks. I’ve to setup a Auto Sign up and some sort of automation to enable export. I don’t think my battery is setup to export at all. With solax you have to change the plant mode or something 🧐. Needs more research on my part!

@piofthings @bazcurtis well with 10p per kWh rewards, you're not missing much if you don't get the automation right first time.

Later in the winter they might get better

@bazcurtis 10p Premium... If it wasn't all automated then it wouldn't be worth it, but home Assistant and Predbatt will take care of it for me
