Had to postpone digging into it. But turning on the global "Wayland windowing system" was an immediate win as it fixed Obsidian scaling.
So thanks for that quick bonus. Will have to sett aside some time as #Flatseal revealed so many interesting options to get my head around.
Having a really mad work week, but have been looking around from your tips and found a ton of helpful things that definitely will help solve the download permission and a lot more.
