#OnThisDay 76 years ago, 7 September 1949, Jack and Mary are in Clovelly, near Bideford in north Devon. The first photograph appears to have been taken from the end of the harbour wall, looking down at the lifeboat station - with lifeboat in the foreground - and the surrounding buildings that look unchanged today.
