So they are taking apart the bridge outside my window
Progress is happening

These pictures are taken with the #Lightphone III FWIW.

You know, in case anyone was curious about the camera on it. 🤷

#LP3

@ruari tnx! love to follow your lp3 experience
I guess they are done. I kind of would have liked them to replace the wood on the left side as well so that it had a uniform colour but … ok 🤷
Ok, now I am thinking they are not done as there are still some obvious trip hazards on the old parts
More views of the bridge from while I was there, inspecting the work
Oh and a bonus one where a momentary lighting change (as the clouds shifted) made it look a little spooky. 👻

Do you choose the light side or the dark side?

[I mean of the bridge, not the force].

@ruari Light side looks too slippery the dark one seems to have more traction.
@sotolf Good point. Though the dark side has some rough spots that you coud trip on, so you need to look down.
@ruari @ruario I always walk on the right side, so it would depend on which side of the bridge I’m coming from.
@ruari The Light Side, this is the Jedi side. May the force be with you!
@ruari from this angle the two-tone bridge really works (imo)
@mactunag I am very curious to see if they leave it or do the other side. 🤔

@ruari @mactunag

I think the older darker wooden Planks are getting renewed when they are rotten, while the lighter ones went dark already.. And so it goes on, the left side dark, the right side light; the left side light, the right side dark […].

Maybe pretty dangerous, not that someone would break himself something if he or she would crack through the rotten floor. 🙏🏼

And it continues…
@ruari The dark side is soon conquered :p
@ruari
They might not want people to fall in over the weekend. It would make sense to do the other half next week.
@leeloo Yep!

@ruari
To be fair, I can see why you could come to the opposite conclusion at first.

Money (time, contracts)
Politics (assuming a public owned bridge)
Making sense

These three are pretty much always conflicting.
