@EllenInEdmonton You'll find the FL origin story and initial interactions with Yi San is different from The Red Sleeve version, which is supposedly more true to history. I liked Yi San more.
The winner of the "overuse" of walking across the palace grounds goes to #kDrama The Great King Sejong (86 episodes) as they showed the EXACT SAME SCENE to depict the next morning in the palace, practically EVERY single day.

Ugh, kill me now!! I can only forward 10 seconds at a time or try to move the progress bar for a show, so that endless repetition is crazy-making for me. I really liked the show Red Sleeve! And having spent a couple of nights in Suwon, next to the fortress walls, it's pretty interesting to learn why there is a temporary palace and fortress in the city.

¨Wind In The Palace" : I started with it around 2010, did not make it beyond episode 20. Too dry...
Three years ago another try, again stopped with it.
But I did not know anything about the historical link with Dong Yi at that time. Dong Yi, becoming Royal Consort while coming from the lowest classes. That issue plays a role in several dramas. ( The Red Sleeve Cuff as latest ). Which I all like as drama. This one I should try again perhaps.

Ronsboy67@s1m0n4 @Reineamie215 @jcurries I watched it when its English name was just the literal translation of the Korean, "Faith" It was one of the first 5-6 #kDrama I watched, and didn't find it execrable. More than 400 started after it, it is far from being memorably awful for me.
The plot/premise was very good. It could be one of the first time travel #kdrama’s but I could be wrong.
What ruined it for me was that she stayed herself too long. There was good chemistry between the lead actors but it was just asking too much of the viewer in my opinion.
Now we have #bonappetityourmajesty that is so so good but I think more thought has gone into what a woman would have to do to fit in “back in the day”. JMHO
@Reineamie215 @ronsboy67 @jcurries I believe I found the ML character more annoying than the FL, with his high standard and implausible morals. However I have a natural aversion towards Lee Minho, so it could be just that too.
