Basel was the first city of Switzerland to have a train station: in 1844. The two clocks used to show the time of the different time zones the trains would go from here. And with this picture I finish my trööting about my little city trip.

simonbp@serac I remember stepping out of that station in 2019 and seeing the historic tram that they've converted for special dining go past. I wonder if they're still doing that.

Im Sommerhalbjahr und bei besonderen Anlässen im Winter können Sie eine Fahrt in den BVB-Oldtimern auch als Einzelpersonen geniessen. Im Dezember fährt ausserdem das Weihnachtsdrämmli vor allem für Kinder. Diese Fahrten machen verschiedene Partner der Stiftung, die BVB und der Tramclub Basel möglich.
