This sort of phrase is definitely a pet peeve of mine, but I hold hope that as such newcomers continue their journey of activism that they discover many longtime activists have their eyes opened by one specific incident/issue/topic that made them "accidentally" an activist. 🤔

(But yeah, if they're solely an activist until their own issue is fixed/improved to their satisfaction -- not cool. I don't believe any such matters happen in entire isolation and to be so unobservant as to miss essential issues in connected/related systems is concerning.) 😐
