Proton claims their “Lumo” to be a fully open source AI chatbot.

Luckily, there is @dingemansemark ’s European Open Source AI Index that makes clear that Lumo is in fact “the least open 'open' model” that they have seen so far.

Yes… also went to find the source after seeing that claim, they’re not making it easy and they only have the front-end apps open-sourced on their side.

@Iris @dingemansemark I am so pissed off proton is going down that path. I freaking just put tons of energy in moving my personal email away from the big platforms and onto proton. And now it increasingly seems proton’s one and only goal is to become a major stinking monopolistic platform itself.
