All the energy stored while going up has to come off in about 20', with all damage as "that'll just buff out." A stiff requirement.

Given the orbital refuelling requirements to get out of LEO, quick turnaround would need to be not only possible, but completely routinized: ten out of ten launches and returns need to come off quickly and flawlessly, or the mission fails. Impressive engineering, but this project may be remembered as the LLM of rocket science.
