Before I head to work, I just want to reflect on what might be the most inspiring political story I’ve read in a while.

In just eight years, NYC-DSA helped elect a socialist mayor—not by magic, not by online arguments, but by knocking on doors, building union support, and organizing with joy.

The Mamdani campaign didn’t posture—it listened. It met people where they were. It showed up with a clear vision:
📌 Freeze the rent
📌 Fast & free buses
📌 Childcare for all

This wasn’t just a left win. It was a coalition—rooted in labor, in community, in real grassroots power. 17,000 people came back to canvass again. That’s not just politics. That’s a movement.

My mom always said: you get more with honey than vinegar. And she was right.
