Putting 2 separate screens in phone is not innovation, it's an evironmental crime. The companies have already created an economy where we buy a new phone every year, now we effectively buy, and discard two. The amount of e-waste is doubled.

The point of foldable should be ONE screen.

@lehtimaeki New phone every year? I'm pretty sure everyone has moved on from that. I thought people were holding on to phones longer than ever these days. A quick search seems to confirm that, though I haven't verified any sources. I know that I'm on more of a 3-4 year cycle now, except for one phone, before my current one, which I just didn't like very much.

There's really nothing new or interesting about phones these days. The dual screen thing is just something for people to get excited for.

@anakin78z Yeah, my comment is aimed to the big-tech more than people. The yearly update cycle is very much what they strive for and activelly try to push their users to. Fortunately, it appears to be working less and less nowadays like your immedaite circle seems to reflect as well.
@lehtimaeki Nintendo ds was the only thing that made good use of 2 screens.
