I may be in the minority here, but Iā€™m not a big fan of pets in clothing - like funny hats, tutus and whatnot. Rain coats, booties, vests seem useful for the animal. How do you feel about it?

@skatem There is value to some clothing for temperature control and rainproofing breeds that are not in their original climate. And there are pets that do like the feeling of (I surmise) security when in clothing (they bring their clothes to be put on). Pets are already kind of a sketchy topic: we enslaved and selectively bred these animals for our amusement? Because we are lonely? Make a friend! (My thoughts on this are conflicted whenever I see a boy and his dog or a cute cat picture).

@dan613 I agree. Clothing is needed for some pets. E.G. sphinx cats would freeze in Canada were it not for snugly outfits, dogs getting salt on their paws seems terrible. I am loathe to use this example, but I sometimes wonder if the reverse is true and cats enslaved us with their cuteness. Pets can be a controversial topic.
