DAY 1 - Cycling south UK. Very early start today to catch the train to De Panne and 30km cycling to Dunkirk. I arrived at 10.30am, only 30 minutes before the required check-in time for the 12 o'clock ferry to Dover. In Dover I took the train to London, where I arrived around 3pm. Just enough time for a quick visit to the Wellcome Collection where they had an exhibition on 'Thirst: In Search of Freshwater' (https://wellcomecollection.org/exhibitions/thirst-in-search-of-freshwater).
