"Health Wanted: Training Nurses for Rural Communities" explores how storytelling can transform nursing education and address health disparities. This session introduces a first-of-its-kind rural health curriculum—soft launching in Mississippi—built around AHA’s Health Wanted docuseries. Attendees will gain tools to teach nursing students empathy, cultural competence, and strategies to help close rural-urban healthcare gaps.
