I'm being picky here - and it's certainly nothing to do with you.

The "lion is king of the jungle" is a well known saying, but from my albeit limited wildlife knowledge, lions live on open grassy plains and not in jungles. Tigers and panthers do live though in jungles, so should they be named the "kings of the jungle" ?

You are absolutely right. That's how language works; people don't create phrases and sayings by checking facts and verifying actually where lions live. Also, don't take it seriously. Take it like a meme, brother. 😀
