Oh, my life. It's so hard.

Went to Guelph and for a great interview Andrew from Tomme (it turns out we worked together(ish) at a former employ!) and then had him choose my birthday cheese (it's in Sept, but I wanted cheese now). Occelli di Castagno

@cardamomaddict "but I wanted cheese now" very relatable.

That looks incredible.

@yetanotherjesse

It was like I was anaemic for cheese.

I wish I could have taken that entire wodge, it's one of their pricier ones, so I have a chunk of it.

I also got a bit of Challerhocker.

I feel like I'm a cheese princess right now.

@cardamomaddict That sounds excellent.

My main cheese problem is I don't take notes. I had an awesome soft ripened cheese in Germany and have no idea what it's called. I went to an Amish affiliated cheese shop in W. NY with family years ago and nobody remembers the name. It had the sharpest aged white cheddar I've ever had. I suppose there's something to be said about the ephemeral nature of cheese experience.

@yetanotherjesse I kinda have to take notes on my food, even if it’s a photo of the label, because if I decide to post a photo, I need to say more than β€œcheeeese”

@yetanotherjesse I kinda have to take notes, even when I'm just eating for me, in case I decide to post the pic. I can't just say "cheeeeeeese."

But you know I'm thinking it.
