Sam Altman claims that science will be finished by AI in a few years. This is reminiscent of 20th century scientists who said similar things, but still, science is far from finished. I think the more we know about science, the more unanswered questions we will be left with.

@danish_akhtar7 Sam Altman hasn’t said that science will be finished by AI—that sounds like a misinterpretation. What he’s actually predicted is that over the next five to ten years, AI will increasingly be capable of discovering new science, particularly as an autonomous or semi-autonomous collaborator, not that it will render science obsolete.
