Just returned from early morning yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️

been so busy, forgot my birthday is soon & people i luv remind me it is coming up

they ask what’s in my Amazon wishlist: I reply that I don’t have one. got myself books I wanted 🥰

they ask what they can get me, i request they take a break from an app or site they frequent as mental wealth practice

This #SpicyNoodle #SeafoodUdon was something i enjoyed for dinner because I love #JapaneseFood. I was still hungry after it so i went home and had a simple, homemade miso soup with 2 kinds of mushroom. I ate that with strips of nori (dried seaweed) I cut and green onion from my garden.

After doing a year of Ayurvedic dieting (for better skin), am now used to higher levels fibre: think chickpeas, beans, lentils, brown rice with lots of cruciferous veg. Having this, is not very nourishing to me

What was nourishing is the company, the conversation, the jokes we shared which reminds me that #HumanConnection is something we need to all do more often because it is healing

The #vegansushi rolls on the left are marinated #shiitake #mushrooms. So good, we ordered another! I now have a new fave at my fave Japanese restaurant! 🤭

Didn’t try the cone coz it was deep fried #tempura yam (avoiding fried foods RN) but apparently this temaki (hand roll) was very good 😊

Back to IRL connections: this face to face interaction is something so #nourishing to me AND would love to do it more often

Lately been going with one of my cofounders for tea & build days, my tennis friends for more tennis, but this past week i needed to be alone to rest physically (overtrained) and emotionally (to gain better insight on my heart-healing growth) 🥰

I recognize I like building with people: relationships, collabs, companies. I think of how much fun it is to find aligned interests based on what we value like knowledge-sharing, human kindness, and yes, always good things to put in my mouth like yummy food and drinks LOL #kuchisabishii
