Finished. Good read, like most of Ken Follett's. This one talks quite a lot about Napoleon - from a British perspective + the lives of hands at the beginning of XIXth century. For example, their resistance to new machines (eg. Jacquard weaving machine controlled by punch cards).
I can't help but find a similarity with AI.
