we’ve reached a point of no return. A war that’s draining our lives, our spirits, our years without purpose, without mercy.
I’ve started thinking of any way any way to leave, to get my family out. We have no home left. And if this war drags on, we won’t survive it either.
I don’t believe my father will get better. I don’t think Karam will recover his strength. Not me. Not any of us.
None of us will make it out alive.
