My IBM 7090/7094 miniatures at System Source Museum next to the real things. These are pieces used in the film Hidden Figures.

In the case: 7151 console, 711 card reader, 7617 data channel console, and two 729 tape drives.

A closeup of the miniatures.

@tankgrrl That is gorgeous. The ridiculous thing is that it's big enough to serve as a fancy case for an ARM based system... a half dozen orders of magnitude more powerful than the originals.

Actually now I kinda want a PDP-11/70 miniature I can stuff the raspberry-ish pi I just ordered into. Just because.

@tankgrrl oh they're adorable!!!
@ireneista @tankgrrl The tiny floor lifter!~
@EndlessMason @tankgrrl hahahaha yeah! :D and the stack of tapes!
@EndlessMason @ireneista NGL, the tile puller is everyone's favorite. ๐Ÿ˜
@tankgrrl @ireneista because it's shaped like a friend
@tankgrrl i feel it is missing a "do not tap on the glass, it may startle the programmer" sign on the surround?
@tankgrrl oh that tile pullerโ€ฆ I can hear it squeaking ๐Ÿคฃ
@tankgrrl
Email them and demand they add a "you are here" marker to the model this instant

@tankgrrl Nice! We were there a week ago at the new INIT HELLO Apple II conference and didn't see that little guy sidled up to the real thing. Very nice!

@blakespot Yeah, saw some of your pics (and was jealous. hehe I really need to get down there). The miniatures weren't there yet when you were visiting.
@blakespot Also, they have 1 too many X68000 and should give me one. ๐Ÿ˜

@tankgrrl The Sharp units are well represented. :-)

It's their Osborne Vixen I want to take home.

@tankgrrl nice IBM Displaywriter in the background next to the XT and the AT.
