@mcahalane @dustin Yes. Not sure how I goofed on sending it.
@dustin @mcahalane @muz4now I like this roundup from the article:

And the public has every right to use their own free speech to call out and condemn such a choice. And use their own free speech rights of association to say “I won’t support Substack” because of this.
All the corporate apologies in the world can’t change what their algorithms revealed: when you welcome Nazis, you become the Nazi bar. And when you become the Nazi bar, your systems start working to bring more customers to the Nazis.
Your reputation remains what you allow. But it’s even more strongly connected to what you actively promote.

I personally deleted my Substack account and pointedly message everyone that posts a link to Substack articles. And also, I don’t read the article. There are other platforms that provide services like Substack, like Ghost and Wordpress, both of which I use.

Fuck Nazis!!!

Unfortunately, Substack has also become the de facto hosting service for many reputable people as well... Like Paul Krugman, among others

Substack is well-known, so it was a natural place for people to land.

Creators that have/want an audience go to Substack, people that want to consume that content can find their favorite creators on Substack which grows audience, and the feedback loop continues.

Moving risks creator income, on which many rely.

@jaypeach53 @mcahalane @dustin Musicians have a similar dilemma with Spotify, so I understand what you are talking about.
fuck nazis? sex with nazis?

I can't tell if Succubi HAVE BEEN or SHOULD BE involved with the Nazis. 😇
@dustin @muz4now thanks! I had no idea.
@mcahalane @dustin This concern has been rumbling around since 2022/2023. However, this seems like the most scathing of all the reports.
