Instead of continuing the #ACOTAR series for now, I’ve decided to take on #ShadesOfRustAndRuin, by #AGHoward until my #Parasitology trilogy, by #MiraGrant arrives and I’ll finally be #reading that, after a few years now.

This book has been quite a slog to get through so far. I’m about a third of the way done and I’m so bored with it. I’d really hoped this would be an interesting read, since it’s based around #Steampunk, #Labyrinth and #GoblinMarket, but it’s so bland, bloated and uninteresting.

My eyes don’t seem to want to let me continue anymore tonight.

I will say two things though:

1) This book gets so much better after the first hundred pages and I have more of an appreciation for them now.

2) I’ve found a lot of this to be pretty predictable. Not a complaint, but I figured out a lot of it before it was explained.

I’m glad I continued reading it.
