It took 2,5 days and >1.800 km of travel from Berlin via London and Dublin with trains and ferry, to avoid flying, but we finally arrived at our first vacation destination: #Galway 😌

@Helsravn We're trying to work out how to get to former Yugoslavia from #Cambridge. The first bit - drive to Düsseldorf - turns out to be only twenty miles further than our regular trip to Cornwall. Then there's an overnight car train to Villach, one of the tiny number of remaining car trains. Then it's "only" another seven hour drive.
