@gerrymcgovern

the mad rush to supplement everything with AI, consequences be damned, has never illustrated the point that things like war, poverty, and hunger are POLICY CHOICES... and have nothing to do with the excuses we're presented with, such as a lack of funding.

this is political will in action - forcing an undesirable and disastrous vision down everyone's throats, with no clear benefit

@rustoleumlove the clear benefits are to the elites: more power concentration, more wealth accumulation.
@gerrymcgovern Just like with way too many things in the US, Insanity Rules!
The Nuclear Bombing of America. - Colin Gajewski - Medium

Let us confront an uncomfortable truth about our persistent fears of nuclear warfare. The spectre of mushroom clouds haunts our collective consciousness, yet we seem to have forgotten that for…

@photoncollector @gerrymcgovern Well, luckily modern nuclear reactors aren't comparable with the Nevada nuclear bomb tests.

The essay is a bit repetitive, but very well shows the insanity of these tests.

@gerrymcgovern and you know these idiots will get to the point where they want AI to manage the nuclear plants too, as it will be "safer", "more efficient"
@gerrymcgovern AI, artificial stupidity. The next big scam focused entirely on sucking up public funds, public knowledge and individuals' work, time and knowledge, into (a few) private hands. While wrecking our environment.
It's THEFT is what it is.
