In a scene cut from the TNG episode "Relics " Scotty makes fun of Geordi for vibe coding the holodeck.

@grumpygamer eh laddie, before ye start a super complex computation, make sure ya put it on it's own hardware.

The end of the SNW episode was basically, if you think you may crash your server farm, put your damn project in a docker container.

@avatastic @grumpygamer
It was a great "holodeck gone wrong" episode with TOS and Shatner parody.

@eythian @grumpygamer I felt it leant heavily in to the Futurama "Kif gets knocked up a notch" episode "It's your standard holodeck gone wrong episode..." joke.

It was very self aware, and it worked.

@avatastic TOS had that episode where Blacula killed 15,000 people because he thought it would be a good idea to test an AI in production. @grumpygamer
@grumpygamer Geordi is a strong and level-headed engineer, but he's also intellectually curious enough that he might try it once. And then his best friend, an actual machine intelligence, would gently clown him for it.
@grumpygamer This would actually explain a lot about how the holodeck always seems to go wrong and put everyone in danger 😂
