Happy rainy Saturday! I'm so excited for the first farmers' market flowers of 2025 - Will at Ever Laughter had these lovely little bundles of anemones...
(I don't really have a vase the right size, but fortunately Mom recently gave me a ceramic flower frog that she found on a trip to Canada. Not exactly how it's intended to be used, but I love it!)
Got home from MerleFest around 1am last night, so I wasn't moving very fast this morning. But I still dragged my ass out of bed in time to get to the farmers' market! And Meadow Lane Farms had these *ginormous* bouquets - could not resist...

We had plans to be out of town for Memorial Day weekend, but after a big week in NYC (art museum crawl & Wicked, with my mom!), we could *not* muster the enthusiasm for a quick turnaround. Haven't made it to the farmers' market in a while, and I thought we were done with fresh flowers for the year, but Will at [Ever Laughter Farm](https://www.everlaughterfarmandnursery.com/) came through for me this morning!
We'd planned to head up to VA this weekend to take a friend on their first wild cave experience - but said friend has come down with something (boo!) so we're going to reschedule, and now we have an unexpected free weekend at home (yay!).
Bonus: got over to the farmers' market this morning and picked up this lovely mixed bouquet from Will at [Ever Laughter Farm](https://www.everlaughterfarmandnursery.com/) and Matt at [Wild Scallions Farm](https://wildscallionsfarm.com/index.html).
We plan to bring these with us to family Thanksgiving in GA... I am thankful for our market, for beautiful local flowers from wonderful people, and for the blessing of sharing this joy with my family!
