Everyone stopped calling Steve, Patch, once Stephen Nichols returned in 2006 to Days. Itās been Steve ever since. Not sure as to why. Iāve never seen the eye patch as what defines the character though, so heās always been Steve to me.
@WildHeartAshley Ah thanks I didn't know. I just remember the early days vividly so Patch is what always comes to mind for me.
@robini71 youāre welcome. That totally makes sense and itās understandable. I know of a lot of people who used to watch back in the 80s who still referred to him as Patch. I didnāt start watching Days until 1995, long after the great era of Steve and Kayla, guess thatās why I call him Steve and not Patch.
