Why does Windows still require a reboot after uninstalling & installing some software? Why does a Windows device still take too much time to boot & be work-ready, even with high-end specs? Android & iOS are well ahead of Windows. I hope these drawbacks will be fixed in Windows 12.

@danish_akhtar7 Linux Mint is ready almost immediately after boot and will upgrade in the background without rebooting if you choose. If you have to still run Windows or IOS, you can do it in a VM, but best to avoid.

@kreggly I have Windows 10 whose support is ending late this year. So I was planning to install Ubuntu or as you said I will try Linux Mint. Thanks for your advice.
